Engine Tuning & Reconditioning

We tune all kinds of engines, four-stroke tuning or two-stroke tuning, for road or track use. We have successfully tuned World Championship Hydroplanes with the V6 Mercury engines, worked on MX engines for Kawasaki and Suzuki, prepared RGV Suzukis for the Suzuki importers, and numerous other projects for the Isle of Man TT, World Supersport, and MotoGP series. We designed and produced a new reed-valve cylinder for the Lambretta importer, known as the TS1 (Terry Shepherd Series 1) which is universally accepted as the the best-performing aftermarket cylinder for the machine. It confers 90mph performance on the Lambretta 200 right out of the box and over 5000 are in use throughout the world. We are ready to look at any conversion or design task, and have years of experience in altering bore and bearing sizes, crank strokes, and even the casting of new parts when required. Of course, we can also recondition and rebuild any engine, gearbox, or crankshaft. Modern techniques can recover damaged parts remarkably well, so don't despair if you've popped a rod. The cases and/or barrel may well be recoverable.
